A haven of peace in Monsac

Your lodge in the Dordogne

The property is crossed by a hiking trail bordered by dry stone walls that invites you to stroll and discover the area.

The working farm is located 300 meters from the cottages and is focused on sheep farming to produce Périgord lamb, which is sold directly in nearby local producer shops. Upon arrival, you can spot the sheepfold and its modern wooden shed, which integrates perfectly with the landscape. Farm tours and visits to the sheep farming operation can be arranged with the owners.

The farm was awarded in 2011 by the Fondation de France for "acting for sustainable agriculture in Aquitaine" due to the quality of animal welfare linked to its nature-friendly environment.

Your host has carefully preserved the history of the Lizettes estate and her family since 1696 and will be delighted to share it with you. Her knowledge of the land and its people allows her to provide all the necessary information to satisfy your curiosity and research during your stay.
